Great, Legendary but.....I love these and always will. Maybe stating the obvious but I have seen some inconsistency in terms of burn. To be expected with the most popular cigar out of Cuba. Taste is tremendous. However, I find myself rowing a boat too often on some. Corrections to the burn can be ‘work’ depending on the quality of the box it’s just the way it is sometimes. This is to be expected given how mass produced these are, But overall it’s a staple and It’s greatness cannot be denied. 4 stars but when they burn right they are 5.

PerfectionMy box just in is bananas good. There isn’t much to said about this legendary smoke that hasn’t been already. My box was nothing short of spectacular. Within just 4 days in the humidor they draw like a dream and of course will only get better. Thank you Cigar Terminal! Simply wonderful.

Good SmokeFew of the cigars had mold/plume, (what ever you want to call it) upon arrival, but only 1 had it bad enough to discard but the others I was able to just brush off. Seemed like they were a little too humidified. I let the box sit in my humidor for 2 weeks. However the folks at Cigar Terminal did take care of me. I tried 2 and both were consistent on flavor but the burn was uneven for both. I would recommend having them inspect the box before having them shipped to ensure quality.

The Finest Cigar in the landThere is nothing better than a Monte 2. The stick is absolutely perfect. Once you have one, you will not want anything else in your humidor.

Honest impression 7 sticks into a box...Picked up a box, CT was great with shipping. I really appreciated the Boveda packet they included in the shipment. Cigars arrived without any damage whatsoever.
THE CIGAR - Let these mellow a few weeks post travel in a very well kept humidor. NOT my first box. Really wanted to love these, but I’m seven deep into the box from various positions in the box and I can say with a high degree of certainty that these are NOT up to par with what we’ve all come to expect and enjoy from the Montecristo brand. Burn issues every time, five have had serious plugs smack in the last third which means there’s no “pushing past it” to enjoy the rest of the cigar. Maybe I got a bad box. It happens. Not fun when you shell out $300 (after shipping) for them. If they somehow improve I’ll update my review. I’m not here to complain or pout. This is a genuine, fair assessment thus far. As we all know, one or two duds can happen in a box. Seven duds in a row? Eesh. Likely won’t purchase again. Taste wise, they’re meh. I’d say light to medium with no change from first light to nub, if you can even stick with it that long. I do because I’m stubborn and these weren’t exactly a bargain. Giving them a 3 because they don’t have any splits in the wrappers and the color is pretty consistent throughout the box.Posted on
