AVO

AVO is named after its creator, the jazz pianist Avo Uvezian. In the Dominican Republic he found master blender Hendrik Kelner, and together they launched the first AVO cigars in 1988. Davidoff has handled the brand since 1995, and Uvezian stayed involved until his death in 2017.

The range runs from the mellow AVO Classic to the richer AVO Maduro and the XO, whose sizes (Preludio, Intermezzo, Maestoso and Notturno) take their names from music. The Domaine completes our selection. Across the blends, expect smooth construction and balanced notes of cedar, cream, nuts and spice.
