Smooth!Now I understand why people like this cigar. It was a smooth medium bodied cigar. Excellent construction, even burn, nice flavor. Look forward to more!

The King of CubansFor many the best cuban cigar all around and definitely one of the top 5 in my book. Great monty taste, long lasting and fulfilling smoke. Very popular which explains the price difference from other Pyramides and them not always being in stock. Have smoked more Monte no2 cigars than any other habano in the last 18 years.

Near perfectionI acquired one of these in the "all Star" sampler pack. Like most Montecristos, this does not let one down. Strong, but not overwhelming, it has a lovely nutty flavour. A personal preference is for a few glasses of very black, cask-conditioned stout to accompany it. Finish the evening with a well-aged Cuban rum and that makes for one pleasant evening.

Only problem was the wrapper splitting & disintregrating about half-way through smoke. Binder stayed intact....didn't affect smoke

The Eternal ClassicStill my favorite medium bodied cigar of all time when I want a longer smoke than a No.4, there really is not one bad thing I can say about these other than occasional uneven burn, which is rare and usually corrects itself. Get them while you can! They frequently sell out (which again just goes to show how good they actually are!)

Me gusta mucho!!!This came as part of my Cuban Sampler 10 Pk. The pre-light aroma was fantastic, even if the cigar looks a little rustic. The flavors just keep getting better until the last third, which was the closest thing to heaven that I have ever smoked. It's all there: nuts, wood, leather, spices, cocoa, etc. Burned slightly uneven around the middle but corrected on it's own. Easily the best I have ever smoked!

No wonder it winsA nearly perfect cigar, impeccably made, draws with ease, no hard spots, lovely fragrant smoke that gets better as it burns down. Not for nothing does this get such good ratings. I keep this and the similar Hoyo Epicure in my humidor. I'd smoke one every day if I were a rich man.
