A very special treat. When young they are spicy, a bit bold and untamed. A friend in London shared some that were aged 2 years and they emerge as a floral sweet, rich and absolutely magnificent cigar. I buy my boxes to age two or more years to enjoy. I ordered these since they are commonly highly rated and also for the lure of smoking a local, no-global market brand. Rich, smooth flavor and quite a convenient smoke for a short 30-45 min time span. My first one had some construction issues as it began to unravel toward the middle but the flavor and draw was consistently good throughout. Not an extraordinary smoke but it still exceeded my expectations. I would recommend these to those who would like to introduce friends to the world of Habanos as they are not terribly strong, can be smoked in a short period of time, and are inexpensive, but still have an abundance of that Cuban flavor that keeps us coming back for more. - Good cigar , 12/26/2016 By Henry

Very good cigar. Nice medium to full body with loads of pepper and a touch of spiciness. Nice draw with tons of creamy smoke. The only complaint I might have is that the burn was not particularly good or even. This is a very good and very well priced Cuban cigar. - Good Smoke , 11/21/2016 By Robert

I was really excited to try my first Ramon Allones Specially Selected. This stick looked wonderfully made. It had a nice oily texture and a firm feel. The pre-light aroma was a great spicy tobacco. The cigar produced very pleasant and flavorful smoke. The draw was a little tight at times, and I did have to touch up once. I'm looking forward to these spending a little more time in the humidor. The Ramon Alones was one of my first ever purchases from Cigar Terminal and what a spot of luck.
I had looked at the odd reviews and decided I had to try it. I was not disappointed.
I am no connoisseur but except for the odd dead spot, the cigar just has you sitting back in a state of ecstasy, thinking 'so this is what the difference between Cubans and non-Cubans is'. It is that beautiful delicious flavour that has you salivating at the mere thought of lighting up and savouring every moment when smoking.
Great construction and plenty of creamy smoke and body, with cedar nuts and citrus, but doesn't stop there. I do recommend stopping around the band point though. Not sure if it is just the contrast between such a great experience and the nub, or just the end of the leaf loses flavour, but the nub is only for those wanting to get every last dollar out of their smoke.
Buy boxes of these and have them always in your humidor/coolador and you will always be happy. - Good medium to full cigar , 11/11/2016 By Brian

These are my absolute favorite cigar. A friend gave me one, and after that I was hooked. To this day I still thank him by giving one out of every box I buy. This was my very first Ramon Allones and the wait time to get these from Ken at Cigar Terminal was well worth it a beautiful cigar well constructed great draw and full of earthy and nutty notes and the taste got better the more I smoked it I will buy these again and again a favorite of mine
