The H.Upmann Magnum 46 is a Cuban classic, a rich and complex medium-full Coronas Gorda, 5.6” (143mm) long, of 46 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is one of the most popular cigars of the brand with huge aging potential, with a strong following. Sadly The H. Upmann Magnum 46 is not as popular as it should be. However this Upmann has garnered its own accolades over the past few years, since 2003 the cigar has been rated twice, each time scoring 92 points.

Full thick smoke

Great stick. Earthy woody & rich tobacco smell and taste from the start to finish. Thick creamy smoke....almost chewy, if smoke can be chewy. I look forward to enjoying more of the Magnum 46

This was a Mar. 2013, Pre lite and draw was smooth , this is a phenomenal smoke, Lil spice, the smoke was not over whelming ....This was a great smoke , If you haven't had this it is a must buy ......

Smoked perfectly

Although it didn't possess strong and unique flavours, the Magnum 46 was rolled perfectly, smoked perfectly and gave me the perfect burn. I love a well constructed cigar. Some might think on initial inspection that there are soft spots (like with the magnum 50) but this cigar (like the 50) is rolled so it will burn well. I thoroughly enjoyed the smoke and will buy them again. When you have a big double corona and look for something smaller to round out the night, the Magnum 46 is a perfect choice.

Evolving Strength

Straight out of the box, a stick that I smoked was very medium bodied. I let the box rest in the humidor for 2 months (May 2011 box code) and it did wonders. The classy H Upmann earthiness was abundant in every puff and as the cigar progressed, the strength picked up with perfect draw.

A delicious spicy, licorice, full bodied, complex smoke with leathery notes... Wonderful burn. This cigar holds ash wonderfully and one should smoke it slowly... It is great!
