Surprised by its flavor, great value CubanWonderful little cigar, some in the box had a firm draw but that tends to mellow after a bit of a cedar nap in the humidor. It has good flavor with a mild start changing to a medium at the nub. Being a 42 ring it can burn a little hot, smoke it slowly and you get Cuban flavor for a great price making at a nice daily cigar.

Great value and serviceGot my order within 11 days, fantastic service considering they had to travel nearly 16000kms! I couldn't wait and smoked one almost straight away, Great little smoke for the price and will only improve once they've had some time in the humidor.

Great Value in a Cuban Cigar!I received my box of Quintero y Hermano Nacionales in the mail this afternoon and couldn't wait to try one. It was well constructed; but, drew a little tight at first. The draw eased up about the half way point. The amount of smoke produced was light at first; but, again, smoke volume increased about midway through. To me, the aroma was somewhat similar to the R y J Churchill line, only slightly milder. I did not detect any appreciable spice and nicotine was light. Burn time was about 50 minutes. Overall, an excellent cigar and at its price point, unbeatable!

Great price point for an entry level Cuban cigar.I enjoyed the Quintero marca 20 years ago and ordered a box to see how they now smoke. Nice dress box was my first impression. Smoked within two weeks of receiving my order. After I cut the cigar I noticed a tight draw. Not much flavor on the first third, then by the last third it kicked in and I enjoyed the finish taste for a mild smoke. For the price point it is hard to beat. My concern was green dots I noticed, but Mary responded quickly with an article on frog eyes and calmed my mold concern. Again excellent customer service. Recommended for your humidor.

Update on previous reviewI have let these sit for some time now, and although they draw well and produce decent smoke, they are too mild for my taste. This is a very one-dimensional cigar. Light, no complexity. However, for $59 it is hard to complain.

Nice Surprise!I purchased these cigars after reading the reviews on this site. I must say for an inexpensive cigar its very nice. One or two started out with an uneven burn, tho it finished perfectly.

A great buy for your humidorOf all the Quintero products I have smoked , this cigar hands down is their most consistent and flavorful product. Very good construction, smooth taste and a 35 minute pleasure trip.
