My first Cuban Hoyo. This stick had a good spicy aroma before lighting up. The draw was a little tight at the start, but cleared up after about ten minutes. This was a fairly young cigar, and there were no distinct flavors. I had to pay a little more attention to this stick, as it went out twice. Just received this box today and had to try one. Nice draw with an oily sheen it was creamy and spicy with lots of smoke I found it on par with the HDM Epicure Especial that I got on a previous order and as always Ken and Mary have been great to deal with and they will always have my business. - Excellent , 5/24/2016 By David

By far my favorite cigar. Nothing else tastes like this cigar. To me it's the best Cuba has to offer. So much flavor, such great taste. Not too strong or bold. Just perfect. We always smoke these to the nub and beyond, you just don't want it to end. - amazing smoke , 4/12/2016 By Khalifa

I tried this cigar on a recommendation. The cigar was well constructed and had an even burn. It started off spicy and full bodied, then mellowed to a smooth creamy leathery flavor. I enjoyed this cigar with a scotch. These are a good robusto for the price. I will be enjoying these more often. - Not Especial , 10/1/2014 By JOE

Perhaps it's just me, but the Hoyo Epicure No. 2 is certainly a good cigar but to me it seems like a compromised Epicure Especial. Once you've had the Especial the No. 2 smokes like a muted flavour version of the same. The draw is nice and they are generally quite consistent. At least the price is good and they are definitely a good shorter term pleasure. - Fantastic robusto , 7/2/2014 By Brian

My first-order with Cigar Terminal. Absolutely fantastic customer service from Mary ! Cigars arrived on time six days to Colorado. The cigar started out spicy. Warm flavors. Absolute joy to smoke, very even and smooth draw. Yes great smokey flavors pour out of this in abundance. I find the draw a bit light and I tend to draw too often and over heat it a bit. Having said that they draw beautifully once you get used to it and slow down. The flavors are rich and spicy, the wrapper has an even light oily sheen and it feels great. Just fantastic to pull one of these out of the humidor, roll it between your thumb and fingers, take along inhale of it aromas, snip the end and apply the flame.

I have smoked many many of the Hoyo Epicure No.2 and have always enjoyed that simple pleasure. Many of my friends that smoke Partagas, Cohibas, and Montecristos.....fall in love with these lovely robustos. They are priced right, sized right and just a perfect smoke for the afternoon. I highly recommend.
