Stands the test of time - immediately!Back in the day, this was my favorite Cuban cigar. I snapped up a box of these recently when CT (briefly!) had them in stock. I should first mention that CT's amazingly fast service is how I'm able to write this review so fast!
I know these Belis will mature and get even better with age, but I couldn't wait to try one. It was wonderful, straight out of the box, straight from the delivery, straight from the factory to CT. It had the smoothness, complexity, and balance I fell in love with in this cigar 20 years ago.Posted on

Hands down favoriteThis is by far my favorite Cuban cigar. Loved the first box so much, I immediately ordered another. It is a complex cigar that won't disappoint. The burn is even and slow. I enjoy the nuttiness, cream, leather, and spice of this stick.

Young - lots of room to ageThis really isn't a fair review since my box date is September 2018. This is a real young cigar and needs some significant time in the humidor. I love Bolivars earthy rich loam smell and taste - this batch doesn't have that. I was disappointed in the olfactory of this cigar since that is what has always drawn me to it. I will tuck these away for a year and see how they age. It pains me to give this cigar a "3" but that's where it is today.

Simply wounderfulReceived these cigars about 6 months ago. The box is dated August 16. Excellent packaging and shipping.
Excellent construction of the cigar, great appearance and aroma.
Not experienced enough to pick out all the flavours, but a cigar that I completely enjoyed. This is the 3rd box of these cigars that I have ordered and have never been disappointed. Smoking time is 1.5 hours.Posted on

This Cigar is top drawer!This is a gem of a Cigar . It is medium bodied with several flavor notes . Most prevalent is hay and earthy notes from the rich soil . I also taste a bit of cedar in these . While not peppery there are some spice notes in this .

Solid First Impressions, Construction ok.Just tried my first one a couple days ago, giving another a shot here tonight. The top 13 cigars looked great in the box, the bottom 12 had some slight cosmetic damage. As a smoke I thought it was nice, tight draw at first, but smooth draw thereafter. Wonderful aroma, like leathery mocha, and hits of pepper. I look forward to trying another, and perhaps aging the others to see how the flavors develop.

Absolute BlissBeing a regular NC smoker I decided to go for something more full bodied and this beautiful cigar is exactly what I was looking for. Just upon opening the box the smell is heavenly, all of the cigars are a beautiful Colorado color with no veins to speak of. The box I received is only a year old so I look forward to seeing them blossom with age. I now understand why this cigar was the top rated Cuban cigar by Cigar Aficionado for 2017.

Best Bang For Your BuckI always come back to this one for some reason. It's smooth but bold taste and aroma is simply the best. Tastes of Vanilla, Graham Cracker, Cedar what's not to love! Out of the box the construction is better then some I'll say average - as in some out of the box had a tight draw. I've had worse cuban boxes but for everything you get out of this cigar its worth it. A+ in my book.
