Make sure you age itI'll say this upfront, I've always been a fan of Romeo y Julieta cigars so my review may be a little biased.
Overall, a good smoke; very even burn, smooth draw and good construction. The taste was very much typical Romeo y Julieta - mild to start switching to medium spicy for the last third. I found that the flavours were not quite as complex as I was used to with other types of Romeo y Julieta but I'm sure that was due to not aging it long enough in my humidor. I've read that the Cedros De Luxe in particular really benefit from aging. I aged mine for only 7 months or so and I think it would have been better had I left it for a year or two instead.Posted on

ReliableIf this cigar were the youngest of three brothers, the ryj Cazadores would be the strong oldest brother. The Boli gold medal would be the medium middle. The ryj Cedros 1 is milder but builds up in earthy woodsy character

an enjoyable smokeI received this cigar as part of the All Stars Sampler Pack. The cigar has a beautiful wrapper and good construction. I found it to be a mild, pleasant smoke with subtle flavor - very enjoyable.

Reasonable StickThis has a decent construction, steady burn and OK flavours. There is no wow factor, but not bad at all. I'd buy singles of these, but not a box.
