Within the last year I have tried several different Cuban brands. Bolivar had good reviews so I chose a box of Royal Coronas because I like the robusto and ring gauge size. Wow, from the first puff I fell in love. I was impressed. The beautiful wrapper, the perfect draw and flavor. I think the finish leaves a perfect taste after each puff. Medium to full body, great ash, and I like the amount of smoke it gives. 90 minute smoke duration. This one is in my current top three! - Reminiscent of No.2 but more punch , 6/18/2018 By Dooges

These are probably my favourite cigars. Minimal ageing and already nice cedar woody notes with hints of something like bitter chocolate and spicy through the nose. Might settle down over time.

This is what Cuban cigars are all about. Strong, earthy and robust. This is no morning cigar or a quick lunch break cigar. This cigar is to be respected and to be savored. Perfect after dinner with a fine liquor and to be enjoyed slowly. Certainly not for novice smokers or beginners. A bit stronger than what I'm used to but certainly enjoyable. In my humble opinion, one of the finest Cubans available in the marketplace today, especially for the price! They never fail to deliver. Full flavored yet very smooth. Perfect draw and perfect burn. Unlike the Ramon Allones Specially Selected, which I also enjoy very much, they do not tend to get bitter even at the very end. - Powerful , 1/24/2017 By Dennis

The Royal Corona may be small but it packs a big punch! I would call this full bodied. The box I received was from 06/16 so it could benefit from some age but overall not bad at all. - Excellent cigar , 12/4/2016 By Henry

Another exceptional Bolivar! Just as the sales pitch says, these are often overlooked to Cohibas, etc., but they are a top notch smoke. This one came from a sampler, but I'm seriously considering a box as all the Bolivars I've had lately are top notch! - just bought 2 more boxes , 9/14/2016 By michael

A great choice for a strong but smooth cigar. Put in your lineup of cigars that you need to have in your humidor. Not an everyday cigar in my opinion due to the power it generates. Sometimes it is a bit tight but that is a minor problem. You need to smoke this.
