Established in 1845 Havana, Cuba by brothers Ramón and Antonio Allones, the marca Ramón Allones was notably the first brand to add bands on its cigars, as well the first one to adorn its boxes with colorful lithographs. After being purchased by the Cifuentes family, Ramón Allones cigar’s production was moved to the Partagás factory. Like the Partagás cigars, Ramón Allones cigars are famed to be medium-full to full strength and its best selling vitolas are the Ramon Allones Specially Selected, the Ramon Allones Superiores, and Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas.
There is also a Hondurian Ramon Allones cigar brand that was started after the Cuban revolution. However, the original brand is Cuban Ramon Allones that is mentioned here.

    The Ramon Allones Gigantes is a Habanos superstar, a rich medium-full Double Corona, 7.6” (194mm) long, of 49 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is an impressive long cigar, which is perfectly rolled, using long filler and tobacco leaves from Vuelta Abajo region. It is more than just a bigger Ramon Allones Specially Selected, despite having typical Ramon Allones flavors; it has its own character. A very complex smoke, with lots of nutty, floral, leathery, cedar aromas among others, and with a very smooth and creamy profile. Maybe the best Ramon Allones out there, and definitely in the top 5 Double Coronas out of Cuba. A great after dinner kind of smoke.
