Before lighting up
The cigar’s aromas are inviting with the sweet scent of dried hay with some floral undertones.
Good solid burn with a slightly firm draw.
In the first third the cigar starts directly with a medium-to light body, the flavors are very pleasing. There are so sweet aromas of coffee and chocolate, and also some mineral taste. The smoke has a nice smell of wheat.
The cigar really reveals itself in the second third. The full strength is now really there. A wide range of flavors accompanied by spice hit the palate. There are hints of milk chocolate and also some roasted coffee beans.
In the final third, the cigar reveals its richness as more flavors develop. The sweet flavors fade away and now come some dryness from old tobacco leaves. Alongside, there are also some notes of bitter chocolate and leather.
In summary, the Partagas Presidente lives up to its name, and it is a bargain that you shouldn’t miss!

- Will definitely buy again. Smooth draw and has unique flavors
Gradually intense flavors
- The Partagas Presidente is a fantastic full bodied cigar that reveals different characteristics without being overwhelming. One of the most satisfying smokes due to its ability to reveal flavors that keeps your attention throughout the experience. This has become a staple in my inventory.

The last of the old guard
- You can taste the habano of yesteryear in this smoke. It seems to me that its blend has not be changed like the rest of the Partagas line so it always reminds me of the habanos in the 90s. Strong and pleasing.
Always a pleasure
I find there are two things I use this cigar for: Small celebrations, and gift giving.
The flavor profile of this cigar makes it a wonderful cigar to give as a gift, it's purely Cuban in nature, but without being overpowering as some other cigars could be.
It's also a go to cigar for me when I'm just having a good day, and want a good cigar to match my mood.
The cigar is fine even very young, but as it gains some age, more of the subtle notes begin to come into their own, and a whole different experience after the cigar has about 5 years of age. It's hard to wait that long I know, but if your patience will allow, you'll definitely find it worthwhile.
Starting notes of vanilla and camphor, transitioning into more woody with leather undertones, but retaining some of the vanilla, and ending with an excellent transition to light spices and pepperiness. The Dark ash is expected, and is prone to dropping with a flakey nature.

One Of My Favorites
I always keep a box of these on hand and love to pull one out of the box to enjoy on a warm summer evening. This is a great cigar, even if you just want to sit there and stare at it for hours.
Beautifully crafted with an saucy looking wrapper and an almost masculine shape that makes this cigar look (I know; this is weird) almost sexy. I can't help it, as this is just a true eye candy.
But if you find the heart to actually light this beauty, then she will perform to your wildest desires.
With an outpouring of sensual aromas such as slightly charred alder wood, ground coffee, toast, toffee and baked apples, it combines a well rounded bouquet of seductive sweetness with woody earthiness. My only despair with this cigar is that time does not last long enough when smoking this incredible gem of a cigar.
Burns well, creates a nice ash, draws is exceptional, and stays cool.
