Oliva

The Oliva family's history in tobacco goes back to 1886, when Melanio Oliva began growing it in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Generations later, his grandson Gilberto Oliva left Cuba and rebuilt the family's craft elsewhere, eventually in Nicaragua. In 1995 he and his son launched the Gilberto Oliva brand, first made in Honduras, and in 2003 the family opened its own factory in Esteli, where Oliva's Nicaraguan cigars are made today.
Serie G offers a balanced, medium-bodied introduction with a Cameroon wrapper, and Serie O is an all-Nicaraguan puro, in natural and maduro. The Serie V appeared on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 list five years running, and the Serie V Melanio, named for the family's founder, refines that blend further. Connecticut Reserve and Gilberto Oliva Reserva round out the range.
From mellow everyday cigars to some of the most decorated full-bodied blends in the industry, Oliva shows the depth of Nicaraguan tobacco.
