Foundation
Foundation Cigar Company was founded in 2015 by Nicholas Melillo, previously a blender at Drew Estate, and made its debut with El Gueguense the same year. Its Charter Oak line is named after the Charter Oak, a historic tree of Melillo's home state of Connecticut.
We carry the Charter Oak Connecticut, a mild to medium-bodied cigar with a golden Connecticut Shade wrapper, in Rothschild, Toro and Grande, and The Tabernacle Maduro Torpedo, a full-bodied blend with a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.
