The cigar is rated a 10 on construction, burn, and combustion. It is beautifully made. However, the cigar is mild and lacks complexity. The aroma is of burnt mild tea, and the flavor consists of burnt wood and black pepper. Overall, the cigar rates 9.

My first Cuban after over 20 years of smoking cigars. This was an exceptional smoke. From the initial draw then at the end it returned, there was a flavor that I could not describe. I was amazed

Just received my 2nd box of these cigars and I have enjoyed everyone, they are a creamy smooth smoke with some great spice!! It's been a perfect burn for me every time.

One of my favorite cigars. A very successful party is now in the store are from 2017. Light cover, a lot of tobacco, which gives exactly the taste that I like in these cigars. I already tried this cigar in 2018 directly from Cuba, they also have a tight twist, a lot of tobacco and are gorgeous.

The draw was a bit tight at first but opens up as you smoke. The flavors are typical Monte. Burn was good, but it did go out on me a couple of times at the golf course. This is probably just me going through stretches not puffing on it.

The flavor on the last third is nice and full. Am gonna let the rest of the box age for at least 6 most as this box is from Dec 2016 and still pretty young.
