Hoyo de Monterrey Hermosos No.4 Anejados – 25 cigars

Box arrived in pristine condition. Opening the box, the cigars smell so yummy. It was tough to even let the cigars rest for a week. This is my first taste of a cigar aged more than 3 or 4 years. I can now understand why people age cigars for decades. The cigar is so smooth and complex. Because this is a milder cigar, the over 10 years of aging makes this cigar absolutely ready to smoke. I am curious to try some of the other anejados from Partagas and R&J. These anejados are quite expensive but it is definitely worth the premium to be able to smoke an aged cigar without waiting 10 years. All cigar smokers should try some aged cigars in their lifetime to really appreciate how good Cuban cigars can be.
