Saint Luis Rey

Saint Luis Rey was registered in Havana around 1940 and for many years was sold mainly in Britain. Nobody is sure where the name comes from: perhaps Thornton Wilder's novel The Bridge of San Luis Rey, perhaps the town of San Luis in the Vuelta Abajo. It was one of the brands that stayed in production after the revolution.

Today our Saint Luis Rey is the Regios, with regional editions from time to time, such as the Pura Vida (Costa Rica 2020).
