9. How we protect your data
We use a combination of technical, administrative and physical controls to keep your data safe. These include encryption of traffic between your browser and our site using TLS, restricted access on a need to know basis, and secured remote access for our staff.
Card payments are handled by our payment provider on encrypted connections. We do not receive or store full card numbers. If you would rather not enter card details online, you can place your order by telephone.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
10. Age restriction
Our products are not sold to anyone under 18, or under the minimum legal age in your country if that is higher. Our website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a minor has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Automated decisions and profiling
We use automated checks to screen orders for fraud and to confirm eligibility to purchase. We also use your browsing and purchase history to recommend products and, with your consent, to show advertising.
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone. If an order is declined by an automated fraud check you may contact us and ask a member of staff to review it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you more prominently, for example by email or a notice on the site. We encourage you to check this page from time to time.
