Cigar Terminal Rewards Program Policy

1. Earning Rewards Points

You earn Rewards Points on purchases and on other activity that helps fellow cigar smokers. You need a Cigar Terminal account to earn and hold points.

Points are credited once the qualifying order has been confirmed and shipped. If an order is cancelled or refunded, the points earned on it are removed.

2. Redeeming Rewards Points

100 Rewards Points are worth 1 USD.

You redeem points at checkout. Once you have enough to redeem, Rewards Points appear as a payment option in the Payment Method area, along with your balance and what it is worth. You can use them alongside another payment method such as a credit card.

You can use your points on any cigar, at any time. There are no restrictions on which products they apply to.

3. Minimums and maximums

There is no minimum and no maximum for earning or redeeming Rewards Points. Use them as soon as they accumulate, or save them for a larger purchase later.

4. Managing your points

You can view and manage your points in the Rewards Points section of your account. There you will find your current balance and its value, and a full history of points earned and redeemed. The history keeps the rates and currency that applied at the time, for reference.

You can also opt in to an email notification each time your balance changes, from the same section of your account.

5. Expiry

Earned Rewards Points expire one year after they are earned.

Points given as part of a promotion may be set to expire at the end of that promotion. Where that applies, we will say so when the points are awarded.

6. Points value and currency

The value of Rewards Points is based on our base currency, US dollars, and is calculated in USD both when points are earned and when they are spent. If you are browsing in euros or pounds, the equivalent shown is a conversion for information.

7. Additional terms

• Points are store credit only. They can be redeemed against purchases on this website. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another account, or sold.
• Reviews are moderated. Every review is checked before it is published and is expected to be genuinely useful. One-line reviews such as "Great cigar!", and reviews of cigars not bought from us, will not be approved. We reward contributions that help other cigar smokers make an informed choice, and we decide what to publish at our discretion.
• Abuse. We may withhold or remove points, and close an account, where points have been obtained through duplicate accounts, fake reviews, fake referrals, or any other attempt to game the programme.
• Changes. We may change or end this programme. The version of this policy that applies to points is the one published when they were earned, and we will not shorten the life of points already in your account without telling you first.
