Punch

Punch is one of the oldest Havana brands. It dates from the 1840s and was aimed at the British market, where Mr Punch, the puppet and the symbol of the humorous magazine of the same name, was famous; he still appears on every box. Who founded it is disputed: Habanos credits Manuel Lopez, other accounts a German named Stockmann. Punch was one of the brands that stayed in production after the revolution.
