The Partagas Serie D No.6 is a complex Habano, a medium-full Petit Robusto, 3.5” (90mm) long, of 50 ring gauge, and comes in a box of 20 cigars. Released at the 2014 Habanos Festival, they are the shortest cigar in the Partagas line. Very similar to the Partagas Serie D No.4 or to the D No.5, they share the same ring gauge. It is a powerful short smoke, however not as strong as the No. 4, which has the typical Partagas flavors, such as coffee, wood, vanilla, rich and strong tobacco and a good zing of pepper at times. Very good construction on this short cigar, this is a go-to cigar for a fan of the Partagas Serie D No.4 and when time is of the essence, especially in the winter. The Romeo y Julieta Cedros De Luxe No.3 is a smooth and rich Petit Corona Habano, 5.1” (129mm) long, of 42 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It comes wrapped in a thin cedar tube sporting the usual Romeo y Julieta band. A pretty underrated cigar, but favored by Cuban aficionados that like it when it is aged. Lots cedar flavors, leather and nice white pepper notes. It has a great construction, perfect draw, and burn. The Romeo y Julieta No.3 is a complex and mild-medium Coronitas, 4’6” (117mm) long, of 40 ring gauge, and comes in aluminum tubes in a 25 cigars box. Exclusively hand-rolled using long filler since 2002, they are also only sold in aluminum tubes. These are the shortest of the of the No. series by the brand, smaller than the more famous No.2. It has the brand's unmistakable taste, flowery and woody aromas, mixed with fruits, and sweet tobacco, with a mild to medium body. It is very aromatic and very straight forward, which makes it a perfect smoke for an inexperienced smoker or for an outdoor activity as it will remain safe and fresh in the aluminum tube. The Romeo y Julieta Petit Coronas is a delicious quick medium bodied Cuban smoke, 5.1” (129mm) long, of 42 ring gauge, and comes in 5 packs of 5 cigars. It is a rather short smoke, approximately one hour long that is, like other cigars from the brand, very well balanced and with a wide variety of aromas at the same time. There are a lot of woody, toasty tobacco aromas, also lots of creaminess, sweetness and spices. Nice hints of fresh and bitter fruits. The construction on this cigar is flawless, and ages very well. The Saint Luis Rey Serie A is a beautiful and rich medium-full Corona Gorda, 5.6” (143mm) long, of 46 ring gauge, and comes in a 50 cigars cabinet. Not being the most known cigar of this format, yet it has lots to offer. A great construction, with lots of complexity, aromas of wood, earth, spices are dominant but very well balanced with some sweet notes of caramel, vanilla and lots of freshness from stone fruits and green fruits. The cigar doesn’t have any rough edges; it is never too powerful but still remains between medium body and full body cigar. Finally, it is a great potential for aging. Más información
