Founded in 1885 in Cuba, “The Glory of Cuba” offers only offers one vitola nowadays, the La Gloria Cubana Medaille D'Or No.4, a Slim Panetela. However since the last 15 years, the brand was often chosen by Habanos to prepare and release several Regional Edition cigars, such as the La Gloria Cubana Paraiso for the Carribean Region, or the La Gloria Cubana Serie D No.5 for Spain. The cigars, which are rolled in the Partagás factory in Havana are mostly medium to medium-full cigars, using long filler tobacco from the prized Vuelta Abajo region.
The best selling cigars from La Gloria Cubana are the La Gloria Cubana Medaille D'Or No.4 and the La Gloria Cubana Serie D No.5.
There is also a Dominican La Gloria Cubana cigar brand that was started after the Cuban revolution. However, the original brand is Cuban La Gloria Cubana that is mentioned here.
