Troya

Established in 1932 by Martinez y Cia, this brand is now produced by Internacional Cubana de Tabacos S.A. (ICT). The brand name’s is a clear reference to the Trojan Wars described by Homer in the Iliad. Since the 1980s, the marca in only manufacturing machine-made cigars of medium strength. There is also a Dominican Troya cigar brand that was started after the Cuban revolution. However, the original brand is Cuban Troya that is mentioned here.
