The San Cristobal La Punta is a creamy and rich medium bodied Pyramid, 5.5” (140mm) long, of 52 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. Launched by Habanos in 1999, it is hand rolled using only tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region. It gets its name from one of the fortress of La Habana that used to defend the city during the Spanish Latin America Empire times. Despite its lack of fame, it is definitely a cigar that worth a try. Like other vitolas from the San Cristobal marca, La Punta cigar is pretty smooth, medium range in strength, overall very creamy and which develops a nice complexity of flavors along the whole smoke. There is plenty of leather, wood, barnyard, hay, nuts, toasty aromas, fruits notes, some chocolate, and some coffee. There is a delicious sweetness along the whole cigar too. The San Cristobal La Fuerza is a smooth and complex medium bodied Robusto Extra, 4.3” (141mm) long, of 50 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. Its unusual shape, longer than a Robusto, with a thick ring gauge, makes it longer to smoke, and lets you enjoy its medium body for a longer time. It is a creamy smoke with great toasty and black coffee aromas, along with some sweet molasses. The San Cristóbal de La Habana 20 Aniversario, a La Casa del Habano exclusive release, is 6.3” (162mm) by 52 ring gauge, and comes in a humidor of 20 cigars. Its official vitola name is the Capuleto, of Double Robusto size, only used once before by Hababanos with the Romeo y Julieta De Luxe Edición Limitada of 2013. First announced in 2019 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the brand launched in 1999, the San Cristobal de La Habana 20 Aniversario only hit the shelves in late 2020, and is sold exclusively in La Casa del Habanos stores around the world. This is the third LCDH exclusive release from San Cristóbal, after the Mercaderes and the Murallas released in the mid 00’s and now discontinued. Habanos really stepped up their presentation with these cigars, as they come in a beautiful pirate’s treasure chest shaped humidor, with a mix of light and dark woods. The cigars themselves are looking amazing, massive in size but tightly packed and virtually flawless. In addition to the usual San Cristóbal band, there is also a second band, reserved to the “La Casa del Habano” exclusive cigars. The Saint Luis Rey Serie A is a beautiful and rich medium-full Corona Gorda, 5.6” (143mm) long, of 46 ring gauge, and comes in a 50 cigars cabinet. Not being the most known cigar of this format, yet it has lots to offer. A great construction, with lots of complexity, aromas of wood, earth, spices are dominant but very well balanced with some sweet notes of caramel, vanilla and lots of freshness from stone fruits and green fruits. The cigar doesn’t have any rough edges; it is never too powerful but still remains between medium body and full body cigar. Finally, it is a great potential for aging. En savoir plus

The Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills is a creamy medium Robusto, 5.1” (130mm) long, of 55 ring gauge, and comes in aluminum tubes in a 15 cigars box. It is one of the latest additions by Habanos S.A. to the Romeo y Julieta brand. After the Short Churchill was released with great success in 2006, Romeo and Julieta modelled all their newer vitolas after this awesome cigar. This is why the Wide Churchill is slightly longer and somewhat wider than the Robusto sized Short Churchills. The cigars are packed full of smooth, subtle, medium flavored aromas. Launched in 2010.
