The Vegueros Mananitas is a medium bodied Habano of Petit Piramide format, with 46 ring gauge, 3.9” (100mm) long and comes in a tin box of 16 cigars. Vegueros is a regional brand, not found easily, and its classic vitolas have been discontinued in 2012 and replaced in 2013 by a line-up of 3 new cigars: the Mananitas, Tapados and Entretiempos. The Mananitas is a nice and short figurado, with a rather big ring gauge, a size that modern Cuban cigar aficionados are looking for. Due to its short format and its smaller ring gauge, the Trinidad Reyes might feel harsher than other Trinidad vitolas, but it is definitely from the same brand as the flavors are typical Trinidad. The Sancho Panza Non Plus is a delightful and creamy medium bodied Petit Corona, 5.1” (129mm) long, of 42 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. It is somewhat close to a Vegas Robaina Familiar in taste. It presents a nice mix of flavors in the palate, such as earth, wood, peat, leather (quite salty and dank flavors), but there is also some sweetness of cocoa, vanilla, chocolate and some fruity notes of raisin, and hints of oatmeal. For such an attractive price, it would be a miss not to try this Habanos. It can be a bit young and powerful, but overtime, after 2 or 3 years of ageing, the flavors will be magnified. The Saint Luis Rey Serie A is an elegant and complex medium-full Corona Gorda, 5.6” (143mm) long, of 46 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. Not being the most known cigar of this format, yet it has lots to offer. A great construction, with lots of complexity, aromas of wood, earth, spices are dominant but very well balanced with some sweet notes of caramel, vanilla and lots of freshness from stone fruits and green fruits. The cigar doesn’t have any rough edges; it is never too powerful but still remains between medium body and full body cigar. Finally, it is a great potential for aging. En savoir plus

The Romeo y Julieta Regalias de Londres is an affordable and medium bodied Coronitas, of 40 ring gauge, 4.6” (117mm) long and comes in a box of 25 cigars. It is a short smoke (40 minutes on average) and yet it delivers complex and very balanced flavors. There are a lot of herbal notes, some wood, nuts, coffee and some caramel notes. This is a great go-to-smoke as it is easy on the wallet and provides a delicious smoking experience. A must try. En savoir plus
