The Rafael Gonzalez Perlas is a Cuban beauty, a medium-full bodied Petit Corona, 4" (102mm) long, of 40 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. One of the most recent cigars of the Rafael Gonzalez lineup, (released in 2011), and is a pretty short smoke, perfect for a morning break. Its construction is great; it's perfectly rolled and feels nice between the fingers. It smokes beautifully, rather slowly and has a nice creamy profile but also develops some powerful woody aromas. There are also some creamy aromas, some coffee, some spices from pepper and some berries touches. The finish is long, with vanilla and some floral aftertaste. The Quintero y Hermano Londres Extra is a tasteful and bold Petit Corona, 4.8” (123mm) long, of 40 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. The Partagas Super Partagas is an inexpensive classic Habanos, of Cremas format, 40 ring gauge, 5.5” (140mm) long and comes in a box of 25 cigars. This is a long filler cigar, handmade with a new blend and a higher quality tobacco. A very rich cigar that has nice aromas of smoked wood, earth, cream and spices. The Super Partagas has a medium tobacco taste that is slightly sweet. Goes very well with a black coffee. Its wrapper is beautiful and oily. Even better when aged. The Partagas Serie D No.6 is a complex Habano, a medium-full Petit Robusto, 3.5” (90mm) long, of 50 ring gauge, and comes in a box of 20 cigars. Released at the 2014 Habanos Festival, they are the shortest cigar in the Partagas line. Very similar to the Partagas Serie D No.4 or to the D No.5, they share the same ring gauge. It is a powerful short smoke, however not as strong as the No. 4, which has the typical Partagas flavors, such as coffee, wood, vanilla, rich and strong tobacco and a good zing of pepper at times. Very good construction on this short cigar, this is a go-to cigar for a fan of the Partagas Serie D No.4 and when time is of the essence, especially in the winter.
