The Cohiba Behike 56 is a very rich and complex medium bodied Laguito No.6, 6.5” (166mm) long, of 56 ring gauge, and comes in a 10 cigars box. It comes in a gorgeous sleek black box that has a fabric underside and a magnet latch. Released in 2010, the Behike 56 is part of the Behike series, the most exclusive series from the Cohiba brand. The BHK 56 is longer and of larger ring gauge than the BHK 52 and BHK 54. Habanos SA wanted to redefine the standard of Cuban cigars and thus released these amazing cigars. It comes in a gorgeous sleek black box of 10 that has a fabric underside and a magnet latch. Like the BHK 52 and BHK 54, the tobacco leaves used in the filler of the BHK 56 are, among others, of medio tiempo, which are the top two leaves that grow at the very top of some tobacco plants. The Romeo y Julieta De Luxe Limited Edition 2013 is a medium-full Double Robusto, 6.4” (162mm) long, of 52 ring gauge, and comes in a 10 cigars box. The tobacco leaves used for the wrapper, the binder and the filler have been aged for at least 2 years. The brand Romeo y Julieta is revealing a brand new vitola, Caputelo is its factory name. The San Cristóbal de La Habana 20 Aniversario, a La Casa del Habano exclusive release, is 6.3” (162mm) by 52 ring gauge, and comes in a humidor of 20 cigars. Its official vitola name is the Capuleto, of Double Robusto size, only used once before by Hababanos with the Romeo y Julieta De Luxe Edición Limitada of 2013. First announced in 2019 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the brand launched in 1999, the San Cristobal de La Habana 20 Aniversario only hit the shelves in late 2020, and is sold exclusively in La Casa del Habanos stores around the world. This is the third LCDH exclusive release from San Cristóbal, after the Mercaderes and the Murallas released in the mid 00’s and now discontinued. Habanos really stepped up their presentation with these cigars, as they come in a beautiful pirate’s treasure chest shaped humidor, with a mix of light and dark woods. The cigars themselves are looking amazing, massive in size but tightly packed and virtually flawless. In addition to the usual San Cristóbal band, there is also a second band, reserved to the “La Casa del Habano” exclusive cigars.
