I purchase Cuban cigars for my fiancé for every special occasion; Partagas Serie D4s are, in his opinion, the best Cuban Robusto made. It is a full-bodied smoke and it is an early Christmas present; I was afraid Cigar Terminal would be out of stock if I waited much longer! The best for a price that is eminently reasonable? A true no-brainer!

I first smoked this stogie back in 2005 when I moved to Germany. What a wonderful cigar it was/is and I still crave them. Unlike the Monte 2 the build quality of this is sublime. Out of perhaps 3 boxes I only got one or two cigars that were blocked. Tons of creamy smoke, leather, earthy, a feeling of accomplishment. Must try!

This cigar is the perfect combination of size, strength and length of smoke. The flavor is relatively strong, and it intensifies as it burns.

Lumpy, light brown, but veins were small. Slightly rustic appearance. Smooth and deliberate. Nice mouthfuls of smoke. Wheat toast. Slight roasted almond sweetness and nuttiness. Retrohale starts out with a little chili pepper spice and soft black pepper.
Pepper builds, becoming very intense especially on the retrohale. Leather and sweet maple!!! I've never tasted that before. I love the distinct changes. They slide into each other smoothly. Pepper lingers on back of the throat. Leather and pepper. Oh so good.

Can't go wrong with the Partagas Serie D4. Slight cocoa, heavy cream, a little grass, sweet cedar and earth.

Just buy it! Deep, rich flavor goes well with Dalmore Scotch.
