First of all, the service at Cigar Terminal is top notch as I requested the oldest possible box available.
I was rewarded with a box from 2018.
The cigars were beautiful with a nice light brown wrapper with a reddish hue.
Tried my first one and the draw was perfect with a razor sharp burn.
It started off with a very creamy caramel flavor. As it developed, a cedar and leathery profile kicked in with a slight bit of saltiness.
This profile kept increasing, finishing off as a major flavor bomb making it a definite nubber.

Received these in absolutely perfect condition. They're beautiful robustos! The flavor is reminiscent of Partagas Serie D No. 4 with a burst of cedar from the cabinet, but they also have tremendous complexity that's tough to describe. I liked this cigar, but was honestly a little disappointed with the smoke compared to the pre-light draw and aroma. There is a really cool funk, dank aroma this cigar has before lighting that had me salivating. Unfortunately, they have not so far lived up to that after firing them up.
To be fair, they are a good smoke and have good tobacco and leather flavors, but they do not measure up to the unlit aroma for me. I like the salty dankness my Hoyo Epi 2 have after a couple months resting in the humidor, maybe these will develop over time. If they do, this will be a SPECTACULAR smoke for the money...I'll update if they do. - Top 5 IMO , 10/6/2019 By Antonio

In looking at my order history, this is the most frequently ordered smoke and with good reason. It is extremely smooth, the aroma coming off of this cigar makes you wish you could purchase a cologne. Got this as part of the sampler and smoked this one within 3 days of arrival. Had some burn issues but draw and flavor was pretty good. Not as smooth and creamy as the Partagas but pretty good for the price. I will let my other cigar from the sampler settle in the humi for another week before I make my final decision on this cigar. While these can be smoked young...with a little aging (1-2 years) they are even better. The dried fruit, noticeably oranges are more pronounced with age...and it only gets smoother with age.
